Air Quality Test

Full Mold Assessment

A full mold assessment is a comprehensive, licensed inspection of your property for visible and suspected mold growth. It includes a physical inspection, moisture readings, surface sampling where warranted, and a written assessment report — required by Florida law before any remediation can begin.
What it is
A thorough investigation by a Florida-licensed mold assessor that identifies the presence, location, and likely cause of mold growth, and produces a written protocol if remediation is needed.

Florida law requires a license. Under Chapter 468, Part XVI, anyone performing mold assessment for compensation must hold a state-issued Mold Assessor license. Unlicensed reports cannot be used for insurance claims, real estate disclosures, or to legally require remediation.
Why a Licensed Assessor Matters in Florida
Florida law (Chapter 468, Part XVI) requires that anyone performing mold assessment for compensation hold a state license. An unlicensed inspector cannot legally write a mold assessment report or remediation protocol — meaning their findings carry no legal weight and cannot be used to require a seller to remediate or to file an insurance claim.
